So, I found a Killian Jones BAM! Exclusive on Facebook last week. I paid $17 for him, which was originally supposed to be $16, but whatever, not going into details. He has a minor blemish on his neck area, but it's not severe. I think it's a manufacture issue, not anything the guy did. I was super into OUAT POPS!, but now I'm not so sure. I honestly just want my Walking Dead ones and I'll be happy, but it's whatever.
He's still cute and I'm still happy to have him. Hopefully his PPG goes up now. :)

Saying goodbye to your manhood...
I called last week and scheduled an appointment for Loras to be neutered. His mom's joey is OOP now and she'll most likely be going into heat soon, so he NEEDED to be neutered as soon as possible.
LaVaughn had a nail salon appointment at the same time as his neuter, so I dropped her off and went to the vet on my own. Not fun, LaVaughn, not fun. Luckily everything went well and he's doing just fine. Hopefully next week we can get Nubbins neutered!
In POP! news, our Box Lunch Exclusive Regina arrived today. I love her!! She's quickly becoming one of my most favorite POPS! and I have a lot of favorites. Now all we need is the Hook with both hands (and a replacement Hook) and we'll have the whole set! Aside from the Comic Con Regina, but she's $200, so no thanks.
I guess that's all for now. Just a quick update on the happenings. We're off to the vet with the girls tomorrow for a check up and lab work. Wish us luck!

Here are some pics from today:
He was helping me fix my hair.
Post nail trim smiles.
Showing off his pom for the last time.
Pre-op portrait.
Post-op, Mr. drunk eyes.
My view while waiting on LaVaughn to finish up at the salon.
And lastly, out Box Lunch Exclusive Regina!
Days gone bye...
Since it's my last day before work, I thought I would post a little update blog, since my last was so grim and depressing. Things still aren't the same without him.
Anyways, not getting into that! I took some pictures of Douglas Monday, which turned out to be quite adorable. He's a chunky little monkey that photographs oh so well. He may be going to live with a lady that was planing on adopting from us several months back. I still have her deposit from the last joey, so I'll just forward that to him if she adopts him. Here are a few pictures of him from that day:

We also got our Once Upon a Time POPS! in the mail Monday. I found the entire set online for just under $40! It was a steal! Little did I know the Captain Hook box was dented, which made them as cheap as they were, but still, it was worth it. I'll end up buying a new one before too long to replace it. Here's what they look like:
Tuesday we welcomed a new addition to our brood. Well technically he's not ours, because we most certainly cannot keep him, but we do have another joey that came OOP then! He's a minimally marked ringtail mosaic from Charli and Tyler and he is just the cutest little thing! We're naming him Roman:
While I was cleaning the car out Tuesday night, I encountered something I haven't encountered since 6th grade -- a praying mantis! I was stoked! Since I didn't want to lose sight of the little guy, I asked LaVaughn to grab the camera for me, which she did. The pictures didn't turn out as great as I wanted them to, but they're still decent. He was quite friendly and didn't fly away until I picked him up and sat him off of the car door.
Speaking of cleaning the car, what I didn't finish Tuesday, LaVaughn and I finished Wednesday. I'm not talking just wiping everything down, we detailed everything! We wiped it down, cleaned the carpets and mats, vacuumed, cleaned the windows, washed it and even waxed it! It looks amazing! Well, see for yourself:
And as for today there's really not much of anything going on. I took some pictures of Zoe earlier, which I'll share below, but that's about it. I also have a pictures of some mums that I want to share -- took at picture Monday.
That's all for today!
Five on Friday...
So... I've noticed that this is a popular thing to do on blogs nowadays. I'm honestly not sure how it works, so this is probably going to be really stupid. So in lieu of how the other Five on Friday's go, I'm just going to do my own thing.
Here are 5 things that are standing out to me as of now.
5. Okay, I'll start out with number 5, obviously. One thing that is eating away at me is how behind on TV shows I am. LaVaughn and I did so good the first week all our favorite shows came on. Well, we did semi good I guess. We watched The Walking Dead and American Horror Story: Freakshow, leaving Supernatural nowhere to be seen. Neither of us had any idea that Once Upon A Time was on, so that doesn't really count. As of now, we're still up to date on The Walking Dead, but that's it. I would really love to get everything watched before next weeks new episodes.
4. Next Thursday feels like an impending doom. I have to drive my aunt to Cape to have some type of test done on her back. It's at 10:00... in the morning! Cape is almost a 2 hour drive from me, so that means we're going to have to leave before 8, meaning I'm going to have to be up at 7. It's not that I mind taking her -- that's not even an issues -- I am just not a morning person, at all. I get super anxious at the thought of going to bed early. I know, I'm a freak with weird anxiety issues.
3. The other thing that's been a constant for me is The Evil Within. I think about it constantly! When I get up, while I'm doing basically anything during the day, while I'm at work, and before I go t bed. I'm obsessed! I'm getting so close I can taste it! I'm FINALLY done with chapter 10, I just beat that a little while ago, I've been hung up on the boss fight for 2 days now. There are only 15 chapters in the game, so I'm almost there!
2. Another added stress is the arrival of Christmas! There's still so much to buy -- actually there's everything to buy, neither LaVaughn nor myself have bought anything! In our defense, we've been waiting on Christmas items to come out and the arrival of Black Friday deals. I want to get good gifts this year, but I also want to get good deals, so I think waiting until mid to late November is a safe bet when it comes to buying gifts.
1. The #1 thing on my mind right now is our rats. Sally and Melissa in particular, but mainly Sally. Melissa has a small/medium sized mammary tumor that will need to be removed soon, but it's her breathing that's worrying us. She breathes really, really fast all the time. I think a check-up is more than in order. Sally, on the other hand, doesn't seem to be doing so well. She's very disoriented, or dizzy like. She stumbles a lot, falls, and drunk walks. I think it's an inner ear infections due to the reoccurring abscess she has on her face. Her bottom jaw is also distorted a bit, it's like out of line. This worries be a great deal, considering this is one of the side effects of a ZGT. I just hope it's nothing and I'm over worrying. We'll know more Monday when we go to the vet.
Well there you have it kids, that's my Five on Friday. Very lame and very, very weird. Not sure that this will be something I ever do again. But hey, I tried it.
Love & Peace

Some pictures from around the yard today:
The old wooden doghouse.
I love the colors of fall.
Mine and LaVaughn's Buckeye loot:
So many buckeyes!!
The sting that keeps on giving...
LaVaughn and I finally forced ourselves to make the journey to Ironton -- the creepiest little town in Missouri -- to get our flu shots. No joke, there's something wrong with that place and all it's inhabitants.
For example, after we finished with our flu shots, we stopped at the gas station at the end of town for gas, obviously, and a soda. And right there in the front stood a woman, a little on the hefty side and probably in her mid 40s, just shouting at the top of her lungs at the poor kids she had trapped in the backseat! What she said slips my mind, but it was something silly. Something like, "This is the last time I'm going to bring you kids out to do bla, bla, bla!" Like I said, I don't really remember, but that gives you an idea.
I was so happy to leave after that. Driving through that place on my way to work is bad enough, but stopping and actually having to interact with everyone there is just, wow!
Anyways, when we returned home... wait a second! I forgot to mention the ladybugs!!
When I woke up today and made my way to the kitchen, there they were, like locusts! They had gathered all around the light fixture and kitchen windows trying to find as much heat as possible! Then when I took Milla outside, there were more! Dozens, if not hundreds! I had to bat and swipe my way through them! They were on my neck, my legs, in my hair! It was a nightmare! I swear, it was like I was in a horror movie called, "Attack of the Ladybugs".
Not long after that, I got our handy little bottle of Ortho Home Defense Max and sprayed the piss out of them, I also barricaded the doors and windows. After that, I went back to the kitchen, shop vac in hand, and vacuumed them all up. When LaVaughn heard the noise, she joined me in ridding ourselves of the infestation.
Okay, back to when we arrived...
The lighting was so beautiful and the weather was pretty much perfect, I just had to stay outside for a while and take some photos. And since I had let the yard fowl out before we left, they were skirmishing about and made for some pretty good subjects!
I was kind of shocked when I looked up towards the lake and saw THEM!! And by "them" I mean our dick head geese that ran off to the lake the first chance they got. Part of me wanted to chase them down and strangle their beautiful long necks, then the other part of me wanted to gaze at their beauty and how free they must have felt. Bastards...
Seriously, they we're in the perfect spot for angelic pictures. They were standing on a hill with the sun setting behind them among Shire green grass. Seriously awesome. LaVaughn and I both had to get in on that action, lol.
After I finished frolicking around the yard, LaVaughn and I made some coffee and started cutting some fleece. Since our phone and internet was out at the time, we were only able to cut one set out that we for sure knew about. The other one had very specific measurements, which we didn't have written down. So we'll save that for tomorrow. Then sewing tomorrow, lots and lots of sewing!
And no, I'm not working tomorrow. I'll explain when the time comes. Until then...

Here are the photos from today...
This was taken on the drive back from Ironton. Absolutely no pictures were taken on the way there, or while we were there. Thanks a lot, LaVaughn!
Our geese!! They are so rarely photographed!!
This stunning beauty is one of our youngest roosters. You remember the batch of chicks that our aunt got for us, the supposed RIR's? This is one of them! :)
She was also in that bunch.
As well as these two.
Here's fat nosed Toby. He seriously has such a cute nose.
One of our older roosters, Donnie.
The fowl frolicking about.
This is 1/2 of our outdoor cat army, lol.
Toby giving his mama Lucy some love. They are so cute together.
See how beautiful he is!? He needs a fitting name.
Love the multiple colors throughout his feathers.
Love her.
They are seriously too cute together.
The lighting was SO beautiful, it made for great pictures of them.
It doesn't hurt that our yard was super green today.
And come on, does that not look like the Shire? Lol.
I'm still mad at them...
But they're still pretty.
Bastard ladybugs! Death to you all!!
Proof of my flu shot. And here I was thinking I would get a more colorful band-aide. Guess not. ;)
This is the only Barred Rock/Plymouth Rock hen that we got out of the 4 chicks.
She's so cute. She looks like a stereotypical hen you would see in a movie.
Gotta love Mr. Friendly.
And Lilith.
And of course, Harley isn't far behind.
Turkeys have the prettiest eyes ever!
A very rare shot of Lucy's face.
She doesn't like the camera, I suppose. And she loves laying by the shed. This is where she always is.
Geese on the horizon!
These are seriously beautiful pictures (which LaVaughn took). :)
And here's my shot at them, lol. Looks more like apocalypse geese!
Still pretty cute, though.
A couple more...
And one last picture for the day. This one is probably my favorite. I love how you can see all the little specks of bugs around them. So pretty.
The one, and only, cage set that we cut out.
And YES! Once Upon A Time arrived! They shipped SO fast! Can't wait to tear into these bad boys and watch them all over again. I know, I'm pathetic...
