Last year my birthday was so weird. Not that I'm the type of person that needs to be the center of attention on my birthday -- I'm the last person at wants to be the main focus. My aunt and uncle got baptized on my birthday last year, so I got up super early and went to church that morning to experience it. Then LaVaughn and I drove to PB in a haze, went to the creepiest places possible, ate dinner far too early, rushed home so that LaVaughn could go with my aunt and uncle to communion that night, and then I spent the the next few hours alone.
It was creepy and weird and too much was going on.
This year was completely different. LaVaughn and I met up with my mom (Ty) in Farmington, went shopping together at a couple different places and just spent the evening talking and spending time together. After she left LaVaughn and I did some Chritstmas shopping, ate dinner and then came home and watched Suicide Squad. It's a complete 180 from last year.
Anyways, now that I'm done with my sap story, here are some photos from the today...

Hi, I'm Negan...
Since there was a recent price spike of Negan (POP! Funko version) on eBay, I took it upon myself to purchase one before they went up even further. There's literally nothing under $20 on eBay except one thing, which is nuts! I looked a the PPG and he's only at $15, so I don't understand the sudden increase in price.
I know this isn't necessarily blog worthy, but in a way it is, so I'm sharing. :O) Now, take a look at my badass new POP! addition...

Snagged him from Barnes & Noble for a little over $13 shipped!
Biker Daryl and one amazing view...
So I got my last (old) installment of my Walking Dead POPS!. Now I only need the three expensive non-bloody variants to complete my collection. I believe I've mentioned those already, but for those that don't know and those that may want to get me something for Christmas 🙂, I need HEADLESS Hershel, PONCHO Daryl and ZOMBIE Merle. I also need the rest of the new ones that were released last month, but hopefully I'll be able to get the rest of those soon.
So yeah, he arrived today.
I also have a picture to share with you post-Daryl. It's a picture that I took on the way to Cape last Tuesday. It's noting like breathtakingly gorgeous, just a pretty shot that I got while driving through Sam A. Baker park. It's on my Instagram account, but I wanted it to be here as well. So yeah, I guess that's all.

Biker Daryl!! Isn't he cuuuute??
Love this view of Sam A. Baker park - so gorgeous.
B&W Daryl, only at Walmart!
Completely forgot that I ordered B&W Daryl two weeks ago. He's been sitting under the bar for over a week now. I'm an idiot. But, he is AMAZING!!
Now all I need is Biker Daryl and my inexpensive Walking Dead POP! collection will be complete. After him I'll only need Zombie Merle, Headless Hershel and Poncho Daryl. All of which are $75 and up, so feel free to gift them to me over the holiday season. :D And don't forget, my birthday is on the 20th of December. ;)
Not really, of course. I'm hoping to one day call them my own, but that's going to be far, far in the future.
Until then, take a look at how awesome B&W Daryl is:
New and improved Shane Walsh...
So, I got my replacement Shane in the mail today from @boxlunchgifts . He was in MUCH better shape this time than the first time. No tears, cuts, rips or anything! The box doesn't even seem dented, which is a huge relief. This time he was wrapped in bubble wrap instead of what looked like construction paper, like the first time.
Way to go, Boxlunch, way to go!
My beautiful Shane Walsh Funko POP!
Killian Jones BAM! Exclusive
So, I found a Killian Jones BAM! Exclusive on Facebook last week. I paid $17 for him, which was originally supposed to be $16, but whatever, not going into details. He has a minor blemish on his neck area, but it's not severe. I think it's a manufacture issue, not anything the guy did. I was super into OUAT POPS!, but now I'm not so sure. I honestly just want my Walking Dead ones and I'll be happy, but it's whatever.
He's still cute and I'm still happy to have him. Hopefully his PPG goes up now. :)

Shane Walsh NYCC Exclusive
For those of you that don't know what I'm talking about, Shane Walsh was on The Walking Dead, obviously, but Funko POP! released a long awaited Shane POP at this years NYCC. Since I haven't had time to make it to NY, I found my Shane online via Box Lunch. Thank god they had them, because otherwise I would have had to pay $50 on eBay, which wouldn't have happened.
Unfortunately my Shane was damages, so I contacted BL and they're sending me a FREE replacement! Lets just hope this one comes in bubble wrap instead of construction paper.

Mail call and cat food run...
So, lots of packages arrived today -- by lots, I mean 2. The value outweighs the volume, so to me it's a LOT! I've wanted Riot Gear Glenn for as long as I can remember. He's an exclusive, one of the most expensive ones at that. You can really find him for under $28, which is not something I was ready to pay. Well, I found a guy on the POP! Facebook group that parted with his for less than that, shipping included, as well as a POP! protector. He was one of two POPS! that arrived today.
The other was The Governor with the bloody bandage, also an exclusive. The interior of his box was completely smashed, so I contacted the seller earlier to complain. Hopefully I'll get some type of partial refund. If not I'll just send him back.
Now, since the cats hate their prescription diets and refuse anything they should have, we decided to run to Farmington and stop by Petco to stock up on some stuff that's good for them that they haven't tried. I think we got over 16 cans of food for $25, which isn't all that expensive, considering. I just hope and pray they like some of it.
So yeah, that's my day. I don't like going to Farmington, I like it even less when we go for one thing, end up grocery shopping and not getting home until 8 at night. It also doesn't help when you have a 100 pound GSD in the backseat that will not sit still the entire way there.

PX Exclusives Governor!
My absolute favorite, Riot Gear Glenn.
All our new cat food -- with Glenn peeking in the back. :)
When the weather outside is opposite of frightful...
So, the weather today is pure perfection. This is my ideal day; mostly sunny, low 70s, a mild breeze -- it's just perfect. So to take advantage of the perfect day, we say outside for the longest time, soaking up the sun and chatting with family. Nothing special took place, just a merry gathering of sorts.
It's rare that we all get to sit and do nothing for a while. It seems like everyone is moving at a fast pace all the time anymore, which is sad. We need more slow days. Days with less worry, days to just relax and enjoy.
I especially enjoyed yesterday, I got another POP! in the mail! I was able to buy burning walker from someone on the POP! Facebook group for $13 shipped!! He's worth like $16 without shipping, so you can imagine my excitement. No one else gets it, so it's something I enjoy on my own. Even my one "friend" I met in the POP! group is weird. He's just like "meh" every time I show him something. He likes to boast, so nothing I have is worth anything. Little does he know I could give two shits about the price of my POPS!, I collect to collect, not to make money.
Well, I guess that's all for now. Hope you enjoy some of the pictures below...

My beautiful Zoe:
The reason why I hate going to the vet...
Well today was our big appointment day for the cats. Since Zoe is FIV+ and Una had high blood sugar levels last time she was at the vet, a check up was in order. And not to mention, I've noticed Zoe has been drinking a LOT of water lately. Naturally, I went into panic mode and started doing tons of research. The thing that popped in my head was kidney disease. I just kept playing that over and over until I made myself sick.
I've also been worried about how lumpy Zoe's scar was where she had her tumor removed.
Anyways, so we're at the vet, we're waiting -- anyone who has been to the vet knows what the waiting process is like. I was a nervous wreck! Ask LaVaughn. My heart was pounding, I was sick, I know my blood pressure had to be through the roof! Our appointment was for 5PM, we got there around 4:30 and ended up getting called back around 5:25ish.
The vet talked to us before she did any labs, asked us why we were there and wrote down some information. She took Una back to draw her blood first, then she brought her back for her exam. She got Zoe after that and took her back for her labs. She brought Zoe back and did an exam on her as well. Thankfully she didn't feel anything on Zoe's tummy, just lots of scar tissue from where she took so much fat.
Then the real waiting game started! It seemed like we were back there for hours! It didn't help that it was late and that there was an older couple there with 5+ cats that all had some type of URI. The vet and techs were in and out of that room up until after we left.
She came by once and told us Una's blood sugar was still high and that she wanted to run a thyroid test. Everything else of Una's was fine. About 20 minutes later -- this is around 6:25 by now, they supposedly close at 6:30 -- a lady came in with some Hill's Prescription samples of weight management dry food. I asked her if Zoe's results were back yet, then she replied "The vet will be in to discuss everything with you." My heart sank.
The vet came in a little while later and started explaining the results. She started by saying that Zoe's kidneys were showing some signs of distress. Her CRE was 3.2 and her BUN was 74. These are both too high and are signs of kidney disease. Luckily her phosphorus was good, that's great, but the other news was just as I expected. Una's thyroid was higher than it should be for her age. It was at 4.4 and the max is like 4.8. Una is only 8, so it's too high. She put her on a half of a pill once daily to (hopefully) get the numbers down.
Then she started bringing in lots of Hill's Prescription samples, plus two 4lb bags of food and canned food. She explained so much to us, I didn't even know which way was up. Luckily LaVaughn caught most of it. I'm not going to go into too much of what she said, so to make a long story short, both cats are on two diets that are polar opposites. Una needs high, high protein and low carbs, Zoe needs mild protein and low, low phosphorus. It's just like, oh my god. This food is also $24 per 4lb bag. Yikes, right? The cans are well over $1 each, but that's not as bad, considering we've been buying grain free foods, so they're all over that anyways. I'm just hoping and praying they eat this food. :(
This is why I hate going to the vet. I go there wanting to get good news, but I always expect bad news which usually it is. I'm so depressed right now. I'm sick, sad, tired and I feel like I want to hurl myself off of a cliff. I'm trying to think of the bright side, it could have been worse. It can ALWAYS be worse. Una's BS could have been higher, she could have to be in insulin immediately. She could have also been in full swing hypothyroidism. Zoe's kidneys could have been in much worse shape, she could have had another tumor. Things could have been worse, so I'm really trying to look at things that way.
In other news, we stopped at Hasting's on the way home. Everything of theirs is like 50% off now, it's insane. We got a couple True Blood POPS! for $5 each, which is a steal. The real winner is LaVaughn's Batman jacket that she got for just under FIVE dollars! I took the jacket up front and asked how much it was because it didn't have a price on it. She said they were $20, so she put a $10 price on the jacket. When we went to check out, the lady cut that price in half as well making it $5, I couldn't believe it. It was a total win.
So yeah, that's that. It's so late right now, I don't even know why I'm blogging. We didn't get out of the vets office until after 7, so it's nearly 11PM right now. I need to go. I need coffee and a xanax.

And our new True Blood POPS!:
Saying goodbye to your manhood...
I called last week and scheduled an appointment for Loras to be neutered. His mom's joey is OOP now and she'll most likely be going into heat soon, so he NEEDED to be neutered as soon as possible.
LaVaughn had a nail salon appointment at the same time as his neuter, so I dropped her off and went to the vet on my own. Not fun, LaVaughn, not fun. Luckily everything went well and he's doing just fine. Hopefully next week we can get Nubbins neutered!
In POP! news, our Box Lunch Exclusive Regina arrived today. I love her!! She's quickly becoming one of my most favorite POPS! and I have a lot of favorites. Now all we need is the Hook with both hands (and a replacement Hook) and we'll have the whole set! Aside from the Comic Con Regina, but she's $200, so no thanks.
I guess that's all for now. Just a quick update on the happenings. We're off to the vet with the girls tomorrow for a check up and lab work. Wish us luck!

And lastly, out Box Lunch Exclusive Regina!
Days gone bye...
Since it's my last day before work, I thought I would post a little update blog, since my last was so grim and depressing. Things still aren't the same without him.
Anyways, not getting into that! I took some pictures of Douglas Monday, which turned out to be quite adorable. He's a chunky little monkey that photographs oh so well. He may be going to live with a lady that was planing on adopting from us several months back. I still have her deposit from the last joey, so I'll just forward that to him if she adopts him. Here are a few pictures of him from that day:

We also got our Once Upon a Time POPS! in the mail Monday. I found the entire set online for just under $40! It was a steal! Little did I know the Captain Hook box was dented, which made them as cheap as they were, but still, it was worth it. I'll end up buying a new one before too long to replace it. Here's what they look like:
Tuesday we welcomed a new addition to our brood. Well technically he's not ours, because we most certainly cannot keep him, but we do have another joey that came OOP then! He's a minimally marked ringtail mosaic from Charli and Tyler and he is just the cutest little thing! We're naming him Roman:
While I was cleaning the car out Tuesday night, I encountered something I haven't encountered since 6th grade -- a praying mantis! I was stoked! Since I didn't want to lose sight of the little guy, I asked LaVaughn to grab the camera for me, which she did. The pictures didn't turn out as great as I wanted them to, but they're still decent. He was quite friendly and didn't fly away until I picked him up and sat him off of the car door.
Speaking of cleaning the car, what I didn't finish Tuesday, LaVaughn and I finished Wednesday. I'm not talking just wiping everything down, we detailed everything! We wiped it down, cleaned the carpets and mats, vacuumed, cleaned the windows, washed it and even waxed it! It looks amazing! Well, see for yourself:
And as for today there's really not much of anything going on. I took some pictures of Zoe earlier, which I'll share below, but that's about it. I also have a pictures of some mums that I want to share -- took at picture Monday.
That's all for today!
60 day recap...
Okay, I believe I'm FAR past due for an update. So much as happened, yet so little. I will try to keep cats out of this post, but I know that'll be impossible and one point, so you're just going to have to deal. I've also just realized that I posted 3 times in May, all bad news posts, so I'm going to have TWO whole months to recap. I hope you're ready for a good read. Oh, I'm also going to do things a little differently this time and post pictures of what I'm talking about under a certain paragraph so that they're not all jumbled up at the bottom.
Okay, lets jump back to the beginning of May...
In one small section of sugar glider news, we had two gorgeous Black Beauty girls come OOP on non other than Cinco de Mayo! Both super dark and of course, super gorgeous. Thankfully it didn't take these two long to find a forever home up in Iowa. We're actually planing on meeting their new mommy next Wednesday or Thursday all the way up in Columbia, MO! She was entirely new to gliders and did everything right. She's planing on feeding OHPW, she got an awesome wheel and even a DCN cage! Can you say spoiled??

This is Petunia.
This is Pansy.
I can't remember if I blogged about it or not (it's been that long), but I custom ordered a couple custom Lucille's. They're basically a micro form of Negan's barbed bat from The Walking Dead. Any fan should know what I'm talking about. Well they arrived on the 10th of May and they look amazing! I was so shocked by the quality, they exceeded my expectations! I'm hoping to order something else from her in the very near future.
Amazing artwork on the package.
LaVaughn's is upfront.
Mine is in the back (and slightly larger).
On the 14th of May I FINALLY got my hands on Penny and Woodbury Walker! For those of you that don't know what those are, they belong to series 4 of The Walking Dead Funko POP! set. They're two of the retired POPs that are super hard to come by. I'm very, VERY thankful to add them to my collection.
Penny on the left, Woodbury on the right.
Lets zip on up to May 21st where I was then able to add Maggie to my every growing POP! collection. She's also a retired POP that belongs to series 4, just like the above two. I'm not too happy with the amount of money that I spend on these 3 POPs, but they're nothing on some of the POPs that are up in the $300+ range.
Isn't she lovely!? :D
Like I stated in my previous post, we've pretty much been on the edge of our seats non-stop. My nerves are shot and my anxiety has been through the roof. I've considered Xanax, but I absolutely despise taking medicine that's a grade above Tylenol or Aleve. With that being said, I have found a new love for wine. I've always loved wine, but I would just stick to reds. LaVaughn and I got adventurous and decided to try white wine for the first time. This is where I found my new love for Moscato. I swear, it's like sipping little drops of heaven each time. Hands down my absolute favorite wine to date!
Here's our trio of new wines.
Let's zip on up to the 2nd of June where we welcomed not one, but two new additions. Ginny and Norman had their first two joeys come OOP. A beyond gorgeous Rintail Mosaic girl and a True Platinum Mosaic boy. I'm over the moon with excitement about this, because there's a 97% chance Norman is a Mocistic now, seeing as how they had a mosaic and a TPM the first time around. We've decided to name these beauties Nanook and Nymeria. I haven't received a deposit on Nanook yet, but I am talking with a lady that's 99% sure she wants him. Yay and fingers crossed!
This is Nymeria.
And this is Nanook.
Not only did I add a few new Walking Dead POPs to our collection, but I added a Supernatural one as well. I was able to snag Castiel as Steve for the low, low price of $8. A tad under that, I believe. Now I need Bobby, Charlie, 2 Crowleys, and 4 Castiels. :D
Isn't he cute?
My aunt celebrated her $@ birthday on the 6th of this month. It just so happened to take place the same day we had to drop Zoe off at the vet for her surgery, which completely sucked. We didn't even get her anything this year, just a card and some money. LaVaughn made her a really nice looking orange cake that she most definitely approved of, but it still didn't seem like much of a birthday.
It had decorations, but this was the best picture.
Long before Zoe's health problems I ordered a new Walking Dead PS4 cover. I ordered corresponding red analog covers, as well as red silicone covers for the controllers. Ever since we got our PS4 I've been wanting to buy a can of "air" to clean it out. Well, since we got the cover for the console, analogs, and controllers, I thought I would fulfill my dream and get a damn can of air. Our silicone covers arrived the day we got to pick Zoe up from the vet, so it was pretty much perfect. And I have to say, our PS4 has not looked cooler.
This resembles the comic to a T. I love it.
Our controllers aren't the exact red that we needed, but close enough.
And I just love the analog covers.
We've also watched several new movies lately. The Boy (not very good), Gods of Egypt (pretty awesome), The Witch (loved it), Dirty Grandpa (hated it), 10 Cloverfield Lane (way better than I thought), and most importantly, Deadpool. I haven't loved a movie this much in, well I honestly can't remember. I LOVE this movie. We rented it back to back and then made the plunge and bought it. Best. Purchase. Ever! This led us to our next movie obsession, The X-Men movies! We watched the first two years back, but never watched the last one or any of the new ones. Out of all the new ones we only watched X-Men Origins: Wolverine. We lucked out an found them all in 2 and 3 packs at Walmart for like $10 each, so we snagged them and then watched them all in chronological order. Aside from Deadpool, I can't say enough amazing things about First Class and Days of Future Past.
These were the first ones we bought.
Then this. I really didn't care for The Wolverine at all.
And the classics, of course.
While I'm on the subject of buying things, we stumbled across a rare gem at Walmart a couple weeks ago when we took aunt Sharon to the doctor. Right there in the game case sat Dead Island The Definitive Edition on PS4. It's basically the original games remastered. And surprisingly enough, it wasn't $60! I'm just now starting to play it, but I haven't had much time for gaming due to all the movies we've been watching. Still, amazing find.
Love the split picture!
What we acquired on the 19th of this month took my by surprise. Ellie and Oliver welcomed their second little boy. Wait for it... a BFBB boy!! I still cannot believe it! He looked dark when he was hanging OOP, but I had no idea he would be a BFBB. It's amazing. And Ellie hoarded him for so long he came OOP with his eyes open! He also weighed in at 17 grams -- big boy. We've named this adorable little boy Gendry.
Isn't he a peach!
Ever since we found out Zoe had FIV, we started looking into a higher quality diet. Something without grains and with a LOT of fresh fruits and veggies and lots of protein. After researching Blue Buffalo and similar foods, we decided on Acana. It's made with all natural ingredients and absolutely no grains. It's like 75% wild caught meat and 25% fruits and vegetables. Or maybe it's the other way around? Anyways, it's amazing food and the cats love it. It is, however, very expensive. One 15 pound bag will last Zoe and Una well over a month, which is great.
It came vacuum sealed with free 2-day shipping. O.o
I know this next bit isn't super exciting. Well, it's exciting to me, so I'm going to blog about it. Did I ever mention that I lost my turtle necklace? Well the charm, not the chain. I lost it a couple months back and have never been able to find it. LaVaughn surprised me last week with a brand new one. It's slightly larger than the last and far more colorful -- I adore it! I'm lost without a necklace, I've been that way for over 5 years now. It's strange, I never wore necklaces my entire life and now I don't feel complete without one. Thanks again, LaVaughn! <3 p="">3>
Isn't it gorgeous?
Last Wednesday we took my aunt to the doctor in Cape. Well we always have time to burn over there and we usually pass that time by hitting up the stores, the mall included. Well there were LOTS of sales last week and we hit every single one. Well, Charlotte Russe and Old Navy, so that's not so bad. We also hit up Target, Walmart and what this paragraph is all about, Hot Topic and what we found there. I'm sure you know by now I'm an avid POP! collector, so when I saw a Walking Dead exclusive, I had to have it! We were able to find Bitten Tyreese, which is a Hot Topic exclusive! Score!! And for just $12.50! Now if I could get my hands on Riot Gear Glenn.
On the 25th of this month we added 8 new baby chicks to our brood. Two are in their "tween" stage and can mingle with the rest of the chickens, 2 are slightly younger than that and still have to live in a smaller enclosure away from the big chickens and the other 4 are just a few weeks old. I tried to get some decent pictures of them all Monday, but it's so dark in the chicken coop it was just impossible. One of the two older chicks ventures out among the rest of the flock. She's the one I was able to get pictures of.
Isn't she pretty?
Now I'm going to venture from the photo-grid and fill you in on random happenings that can't be photographed or haven't been photographed yet...
Okay, I know I said I wasn't going to talk about cats -- or at least try not to -- but I kinda have to bring this up. A young black and white cat showed up at our place a couple weeks ago. It's a boy, he was super skittish at first, but has since warmed up, he was loaded in ticks, he was skin and bones and most importantly, he's the sweetest and most appreciative cat I've ever met! You can tell he's been abused his whole life, but that's not a worry anymore. We're going to take him to the vet in a week or so for a check-up, combo test, shots, and a neuter appointment. Oh, we've named him Hamilton and I will try my best to get pictures next week.
Lets see, what else... Well, work has been going good (knock wood). I feel I'm the most trusted employee there anymore, seeing as how I'm the only one who can close aside from the owners. I have a key and know the security codes -- no one else has this pleasure. It's a big responsibility, but it's one I'm proud to have. I'm STILL not used to getting up early on Sundays to open. That's going to take months to get accustomed to.
We're skipping out 4th Of July celebration this year due to the "Pritchett Family Reunion" on the 9th of next month. A lot of money is invested in the 4th and since SO much is going into the reunion that my aunt and a distant family are planing, we've decided against two big, expensive events this year. Fine by me, the 4th wasn't very enjoyable last year, so I'm happy we're not doing anything. I would never tell my aunt, due to the fact that she's so excited about this, but I'm not even remotely looking forward to the reunion this year. 1) We've never had a reunion before. 2) None of the family on our side is going to show. 3) It's going to be sweltering. 4) I simply don't like people. I'm being petty, yes I know, but I can't help myself. On the other hand, it may turn out to be an overall enjoyable experience that I'll love. Who knows!
I guess I'll end it there. Not too much else to talk about -- at least nothing that I can remember? Anyways, I'll try to keep things updated from now on, but that's in no way a promise. Until nest time...
