The wind down...

Well today wasn't nearly as productive as the days before, but we did managed to sew up a custom order and cut out another set to sew Monday, so it wasn't a super wasteful day. I think I'm just like bla because it's Friday and I know I have to go back to the hell hole tomorrow. Good time.

Hmm... I basically summed up the day in one paragraph! Now I'll ream myself a little. I should have taken pictures of the joeys today!! I've needed to do it for a while now! I also need to change pouches, do laundry, vacuum, and probably something else, but I can't think of it right now, go figure.

Okay, this blog is going to end in 3... 2... 1...

Here's the custom set we sewed:

Isn't this fleece awesome!?

All three of our pets on the same couch!

And lastly, my beautiful Sadie! <3 p="">

Hmm... what rhymes with fleece and sounds cool?

Well... we got our new fleece today!! I knew on the tracking that we would, but they weren't lying when they said it would be by the end of the day. I don't think the guy showed up until after 4! I was hoping we would get it around 2ish, maybe 3, but of course not. Anyways, it's all so awesome and matches so well this time! Last time we were horrible at picking the right color solids to go with the prints.

We managed to get the rest of Taylor set sewn up today, now that can be shipped tomorrow! It seems like it's taken forever this time to get her set out. We've just been lucky enough to get orders, we didn't have time to do hers. I feel so bad, but we're going to ship it back to her on us to make up for it.

There's a good chance that we already have some of this new fleece sold (fingers crossed!). Some girl commented on the picture of the skull set that we sewed yesterday and wanted it, but unfortunately, it was already sold. I mean, fortunate for us of course, but I felt bad for her. Anyways, I ended up showing her pictures of the fleece we got and she ended up liking the giraffe print. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she wants it!

After that, we had to jot to town to pick up a Site to Store from Walmart. We order some awesome little pen quills. We also order some beautiful black ink separate from that. They were all so cheap, like a couple bucks!

And after that, can you guess where we ate? McDonald's! You'd think we would be sick of that place by now, but oh no! Like I was telling LaVaughn, it's not like we eat from there when I work. Nine times out of ten we cook. So yeah, we ate there.. big deal! Lol.

Okay, well I suppose that's all for now. We have a big cutting day ahead of us tomorrow, so I need to go gear up for it. Who am I kidding... I'm going to play GTA. Until next time...

It was very eerie!

Don da da don! Look at all of that glorious fleece!!

My absolute favorite!!

We're cutting some of this today.

Sew like the wind!

Since we have the rest of the week ahead of us, we decided to make the most of it by power sewing! That's all we did for like 3-4 hours straight! We sewed up all of Taylor's set, and part of another one. Bother are hers, but they're super huge and time consuming, so we only did 1 1/2 for now. We'll finish up the rest tomorrow.

After that, we sewed up yet another set! It was the remaining skull fleece that we had left over. We were originally planing on keeping it, but decided not to when we thought we could sell it. The main reason for that was because we wanted to buy The Vampire Diaries. You can find the first 3 seasons on ebay for close to $30, which isn't a bad price. Now if only it sells, we're in business! :)

It Seems like there was something else I needed to say. Hmm...

But yeah, we're trying to get all of our random sets sewn up so that we can make room for all the fleece that we'll be getting tomorrow from Joann's! I can't wait to see what it all looks like in person. It's sad that I find getting fleece in the mail so exciting. Shouldn't I be out in a bar, or partying?

Omg, I can't believe I haven't mentioned this yet! We bought GTA V last night!! Since I got off work at 7, we decided to head on into town and pick it up!! I was held like 15 minutes over, of course, but I still managed to make it home by nearly 8 and into by 20 after. I think it was fate that we were supposed to get this game, because when I went back to ask the guy to get it out of the case, I saw one laying on a cart! Completely unopened and new! I just grabbed that and ran, lol.

The game is definitely awesome, but the map is completely different from the one of GTA: San Andrea. I thought it would be the same exact map, just a little bigger and updated, but it's an entirely new map! And everything is on the same chunk of land -- which I find weird, but it's still pretty awesome. And everything on the map is already open. You don't have to do missions to unlock different parts. I'm probably the only one that actually misses the fact that you have to work to open stuff. I'm a weirdo.

Anyways, so far so good. It's still new, so it's still growing on me. If it ends up not being fun, we'll just sell it on ebay and get our money back. I do miss the money, lol. New games are too damn expensive!

Oh yeah, we actually managed to clean the glider room Monday! We took all the cages down, cleaned them, cleaned the wheels, and put clean cage sets in. Yeah, we're awesome. Now if only we can do the same thing next Monday, lol. Highly unlikely, but I'm hopeful. We also managed to put Chloe and Boone's cage together. Fully equipped with a new cage set. I think it looks awesome!

Alright, I believe that's all for now. This is the most I've blogged in forever it seems. It's nice. I hope you enjoy reading as much as I did writing. Until next time...

Fun day Monday... part two?

I honestly don't know if I've used that title or not. It seems like I have, but, you know how I am with titles. They're something I tackle with on a daily basis. I'll even just be thinking about want I want to blog about and will come up with this really catchy opening line and title, then of course I forget it by the time I actually get to write it. Go figure.

Anyways, my uncle was stranded without a ride to his truck today. Which, I might add, was parked nearly an hour away in Cherokee Pass. That's not even it though, he needed a ride up there AND to the vet. Unfortunately, Fletcher had been bleeding from his backside and needed to be seen, bad! So of course, LaVaughn and I offered to drive him up to the vets office, then drop him off at his truck after we were done.

Luckily, there was nothing severely wrong with Fletch, he apparently had some form of skin tag around his butt area and tore it off somehow. That's what started the bleeding. They just ended up using something to cauterize is and sent him home. With a SMALL bottle of $25 Vetericyn. Vet offices rip people off so badly.

After that, we dropped him off at his truck and went on our way.

That's basically all we did today. The drive up there took a few hours, so there wasn't much of the day left when we got home. That's okay though, we have a BIG night ahead of us. We're planing on putting Chloe and Boone's cage together and thoroughly cleaning everyone else's and the glider room. Should be a blast!

Omg, I almost forgot!! Our Time Turners and wands arrived today!! I know it's cheesy and childish... wait a second, no it's not! Every one else out there buys Harry Potter things and collects them, why not us? So yes, I am very proud to say that our Time Turners and wands arrived today, ha! Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of our wands, but just know that they're awesome.

Well, I suppose that's all for now. After my short 5 hour shift tomorrow (2-7) I'll be home free for 3 days! Woop woop! Until next time...

Love & Peace
