Oops... we did it again!

What did we do you ask? Well, we've added to our furry family. I know, I know, we have more than enough animals to go around, but how can you deny 3 cute little albino mice that will eventually be snake food? We saw these little guys at Johnson Feed Store last week, when there were 4 mice, but we decided against them. Well when Monday rolled around, I called and asked if they were still available... they were. But, we decided against them again.

We brought them up a few different times throughout the week and finally mustered up enough courage to go look at them. On our way there today, we considered going to Poplar Bluff and getting colored mice, but then a horrible feeling of guilt came over us. So we decided to just stick with the albinos. When we got there, we headed straight for the animal section of the store. At first sight, we didn't see any mice. With close observation, we noticed that they were buried under their wood chips, considering that was pretty much the only thing in their cage. Well, lets not forget the rusty food dish! Then our sight shifted a little to the right... where the dead mouse was. I was so heartbroken. If we had came a day earlier or even a week earlier, maybe we could have saved that little guy as well.

Long story short, we got them all and brought them home. And thankfully, they're ALL males! We're not 100% sure what we're going to name them. Lots of scenarios are going through our minds right now, but more than likely, we wont choose any of our original ideas.

Well, I suppose that's enough blabbing for now. Time for the pictures! Until next time, you know where to find me...

Love & Peace

Here are the pics of the albino mice:
(please forgive the lack of stimulation in their cage, we're working on it)

Look at that mouse tummy!

The makeshift mouse house.

I love the homemade feel, lol.

Considering they literally had nothing in their cage, just this little big of stuff is probably more than they've ever had in their lives!

Nom, nom, nom!

I love the albino eyes! Well, I guess I should say the red eyes.

Thirsty mouse!

He's killing the toy!

3 Blind Mice!

I think they prefer being called 3 albino mice. <3
