Well, we got there around 12:30 AM and was shocked at the amount of cars in the parking lot. It was insane! Seriously, Piedmont is a small as town with a population of just over 5,000 people. And of those 5,000 people, about 3,000 were at Walmart... seriously. We made it in the door just fine, but as soon as we walked in, we noticed the line. It started and the register and went all the way down to the kids section and then some! It was nuts! We finally made our way back to the pet section and grabbed some ferret food, rat food and cat food. Then as we walked passed the electronics, we saw the covering and taping all of the 5:00 AM deals, it was too funny! Then we made our way to one of the insanely long lines where we waited and waited and waited! And naturally, we stood behind a crackhead that wouldn't stop talking about damn coffee and getting her 5:00 deals, lol. It was seriously gnarly. I think we were the only ones in there that didn't have Black Friday stuff. We finally made it through the lines and out the door, lol.
Then today when we got up (around 1:00 PM) we had to go back into town to get some sinus pills. We were planning on avoiding Walmart at all costs, but of course the other stores were completely out of sinus pills, so we were forced to go to Walmart. And yes, there were still LOADS of people there. We actually got to walk down the isles, though. And... we actually got a Black Friday item, believe it or not. And what did we get you ask? Well, we got the ever so awesome second season of Supernatural. Cool right?
