Why must sugar gliders be so cute?

Do you remember a few blogs back when I said we were getting rid of some of our gliders? Well, that's off. I know, we're as weak as they come, but we can't help it. We are done with the breeding, though. We've decided to have a trio of girls and a colony of boys. Yes, that's only 2 cages of gliders... YAY! But, first come the intros, which we've already started.

Not sure if I mentioned it or not, but we already introduced Sadie and Kira about a week ago. Thankfully, they're biffs now. So we decided to go ahead and introduce them to, Fiona. So we got our tent out last night, got the girls up and then got Fiona out. Within a few seconds, everyone was sniffing each other with NO biting, fussing or crabbing. We couldn't believe it! We were only in the tent for about 5 minutes before everyone was snuggled up in the same pouch. It was beyond awesome.

Then it was the boys turn. We decided to try Chazz and Logan out first, cause they're the two that are alone. Chazz was actually ok with it, but Logan was being a major ass. He just kept chasing and fighting at Chazz. So we though we would see how Pip and Chazz would do. They actually did ok. Pip just stayed on the side of the tent the entire time. Since that went so well, we decided to bring Charlie and Felix in and see how they would do. Everyone was pretty still for about 5 minutes, but as soon as one of them would move, everyone would move, lol. We were probably in the tent for about 45 minutes before we decided to quit for the night. As of right now, Pip and his two children, Charlie and Felix, are snuggled up in a pouch together. Since Logan and Chazz both decided to be little butts about the whole thing, they're staying in separate cages for a while. Hopefully not too long, though. We plan on doing more intros tonight. But as of right now, we have a trio of girls and a trio of boys. Hopefully that trio of boys will be a colony of 5 by tonight. Fingers crossed everyone!

In other animal related news, we are still planning on re-homing the rats and the kitten. Possibly the birds, but we're not too sure yet. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how everything unfolds.

Lets see, what else is going on? Not too much really. I did manage to get some pretty nice pictures from the past few days. Be sure to check those out before you run off. Well, I guess that's all for now. Until next time, you know where to find me...

Love & Peace

Song of the day: Where Did You Sleep Last Night by Ledbelly

Here are the pics:

Sadie & Kira all snuggled up in the pouch together.

This handsome little man is, Felix. You can also see Charlie under him.

Just look at that cute little face!

He has huge ears, just like his mom.

This is my all time fave of him.

Look at that cute little face Pip is making. I love their little doofy teeth.

 Such a pretty man.

Logan is such a wild man, lol.

Look at those cute teeth and crazy eyes.

This little fatty is, Hannibal. He should've went to his new home today, but we had to postpone.

 This is too cute!

Charlie's almost as big as his dad now.

Another cute one of Felix. You can also see Charlie and Pip in the background.

You can clearly see that he's enjoying his treat, lol.

Pip's getting ready to steal Charlie's treat.

Another cute one of Felix eating.

This was taken just a little while ago. And yes, there are 3 cute little girl faces peaking out.

 And another one.

 And another one...

If you look close enough, you can see that there are 3 tails in that pouch.

 Pip is seriously gorgeous!

It doesn't hurt that he's in the pouch with his two babies, lol.

I love the way his hand looks here.

I actually really like this picture. Everything looks dead, so therefor it reminds me of The Road. You'll understand if you've ever seen the movie.

Just a nice shot of the sun setting on the lake.

 A tree.

 More wood, lol.

Ugh, I hate that I'm posting a picture of myself, but I thought it looked pretty cool. But, whatever...

 Another tree.

 Hmm...

 This stuff is delicious!

And lastly, a nice little snack for the gliders. :)
