It finally came!!

The long awaited time is finally here. A day of great joy and satisfaction. A day that not only we will remember, but our gliders will remember. A day that... okay, time to cut to the chase, our new CAGE came today!! And OMG, it's freaking awesome, man! The expected delivery was for next Friday, but we lucked out and got it this Friday.

The cage is called The Havana and it's very similar to the Brisbane/HQ cage that we got back in 2009. The only difference is that this cage has one big door instead of the two smaller doors. It's a very sturdy cage and seems to be well made. I'm just hoping that it holds with well against our Brisbane/HQ cage. If it doesn't, hopefully in the future we can get a couple more Brisbane/HQ cages.

Aside from the extremely awesome cage that we received in the mail and assembled in 30 minutes, we also got a huge order of fleece from Joann.com today. Since it was still early by the time we got finished with the cage, we decided to go ahead and cut out all the cage sets that we had to sew.

When we were finished, we had plenty of left over fleece to make a couple smaller cage sets for ourselves. We ended up with: 1 Pouch, 2 Corner Hammocks, 2 Bridge (without fringe), 1 Double Hammock and 1 Vine. Not bad, eh? I'm glad we didn't make any more than that, cause those items, along with our toys, left us with no room in our cages.

Well, I suppose that's all for now. Time to go stare at our new cage, lol. Until next time, you know where to find me...
