Much to my surprise, there were still quite a few items up for grabs. And you guessed it, all with a savings of 50%! By the time we were done rummaging around around the store, we had over half a cart full of stuff we had either already gotten, or stuff we didn't need. We took a step back to reevaluate everything we had in our cart and ended up putting about 40% back.
We did, however, make out like bandits in the Christmas decorations department. We've been talking for weeks about doing a themed tree next year and decided that the theme would be red and green after we saw some decorations at Walmart earlier this month. I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw ALL of the red and green Christmas decorations still on the shelves! We grabbed two of almost every red and green ball and 3 strands of red garland. All we'll need next year... lights!
LaVaughn really put the icing on the cake when she found a GORGEOUS wreath that matched our color scheme to a T. I was in awe.
Aside from the awesome array of decorations, we also got some Bodycology things, lip gloss, some new makeup brushes for myself, and a couple other odds and ends. All in all, we made out like bandits.
I hope everyone else's after Christmas shopping was as fruitful. I'm sure there were far better deals in the bigger cities, but along with a more populous area comes more competition. Until next time...
Love & Peace
