We got the white stuff...

So, looks like we got every bit of snow that they were calling for -- and then some! It started sleeting around 9 last night, which lasted until almost 11. Luckily there wasn't much accumulation. All we need is to be blanketed by ice! It wasn't long after that the snow covered the ground. We were getting around 1 to 1 1/2 inches an hour, so it didn't take long to add up.

Since there's really nothing going on today and nothing to blog about, I'm just going to take you through a series of pictures that I took last night and today. Just to give you a little glimpse of what we're currently having to endure.

For all of those in the storms path, stay safe!

Love & Peace

This was shortly after the sleet and depleted and the snow started. Around 12 AM:

A lot more accumulation, around 2 AM:

Around 4 AM things were really starting to look serious:

As you can see, basically all of the ground is covered.

And this is what I woke up to today:

Just look at the poor car! You can hardly see it in all the snow!

There were lots of little snow birds out, but thanks to my limitations of a 55mm lens, I couldn't zoom in enough to actually see them.

Close to a foot of snow -- and it's still snowing!

Some pictures of Una, just because she's cute:

She has the prettiest cat eyes ever.
